Vancouver BC Canada, 5/1/2008 / FSC / - Saturn Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: SMI.V), ("Saturn") wishes to advise that the Company's representatives have made applications for coal permits in east central Saskatchewan, in the area of Goldsource Mines Inc. recently announced coal discovery. The applications were made in accordance with the Coal Disposition Act of Saskatchewan. The time frame for granting of permits is dependent upon regulatory requirements to process the applications.

Saturn will provide further information when it becomes available.
