LONDON (Reuters) - Oil hit a record high above $125 a barrel on Friday, boosted by strong demand for diesel, concern about supplies and a renewed bout of buying by investment funds.
U.S. crude oil hit a record high of $125.10 a barrel, but by 6:24 a.m. EDT (1024 GMT), it handed back some gains and was trading $1.28 higher at $124.97.
