Crescendo Partners Acquires Common Shares of Dalsa Corporation

NEW YORK, Jan. 31 /CNW/ - Crescendo Partners L.P. announced that it has, through Crescendo Partners II L.P. Series X and Crescendo Partners III L.P., acquired 506,000 common shares of Dalsa Corporation today through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange representing approximately 2.7% of the common shares outstanding. After acquiring these common shares, Crescendo Partners L.P. controls 2,052,700 common shares representing approximately 10.8% of the outstanding common shares of Dalsa.

The common shares were acquired for investment purposes. Crescendo Partners may, depending on market and other conditions, on an individual or joint basis, increase or decrease its beneficial ownership of common shares of Dalsa, whether in the open market, by privately negotiated agreements, or otherwise.
