Standard & Poor's Announces Changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index
Tue Sep 1, 5:17 PMTORONTO, Sept. 1 /CNW/ - Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, September 1, 2009:
- The shares of Chapleau Resources Ltd. (TSXVN: CHI) will be removed from
the index. Magellan Minerals Ltd. (TSXVN: MNM) has agreed to acquire
all of the issued and outstanding shares of Chapleau under a statutory
plan of arrangement.
Company additions to and deletions from an S&P equity index do not in any way reflect an opinion on the investment merits of the company.
