TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed slightly higher on Friday as Teck Resources Ltd's equity sale to China Investment Corp helped lift the resource-heavy market, but trading volumes were thin due to a U.S. market holiday.
The S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 42.10 points, or 0.41 percent, at 10,288.01.
