Ms. Thomas has been engaged to advise the Company with respect to its option to purchase the San Agustin property from Silver Standard Resources Inc. Ms. Thomas will explore a wide range of alternatives for funding the exercise price which may or may not include equity.
Ms. Thomas provides independent financial advisory services and has extensive experience in the natural resource industry, a career spanning more than 25 years. Ms. Thomas' recent engagements include providing strategic advice to a major international mining company financing a multi-billion dollar base metal project, monetizing a silver by-product for a U.S. base metal producer, advising on the financing of a gold development project in Central America and financing the development of a copper project in Canada. Ms. Thomas is also currently on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee for Victory Nickel Corporation. Prior to starting Conseil Advisory Services Inc. in 2000, Ms. Thomas was Director, Mining Group, Investment Banking, Scotia McLeod Inc. from 1997-1999 and was with Scotiabank Corporate Banking from 1987-1996.
