Northern Continental Cancels & Issues Options

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 5, 2008) - Northern Continental Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: NCR.V) announces today that it has cancelled 495,000 stock options currently held by insiders of the company.

Concurrently, Northern Continental has issued 500,000 stock options exercisable at a price of $0.35 for a period of three years to a senior executive officer and director of the company.
