Copper Mesa provides update on Annual Meeting date

VANCOUVER, Oct. 5 /CNW/ - Copper Mesa Mining Corporation ("Copper Mesa" or the "Company") (TSX: CUX.TO) today announced that the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") has declined the Company's request for an extension for Annual Meeting (AGM) and is requiring the Company to hold its AGM within 45 days of September 24, 2009. Therefore, the Board of Directors of the Company have confirmed that the AGM will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11 am (MT) at its corporate office located at 10920 W. Alameda Ave., Suite 207 in Lakewood, Colorado, for shareholders of record on Tuesday, October 6, 2009.
