Gold World Resources Hires Exploration Supervisor

TORONTO, May 7 /CNW/ - Gold World Resources Inc. (GDW-TSX Venture) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Cunyou Li as Exploration Supervisor for its Hebei Ming Yu Mining Company Ltd., ("JV Company") Hebei Province, China, incorporation of which is now under review by the Ministry of Commerce of P.R. of China. Mr. Li will be responsible for the execution of the exploration program on the Ming Gold/Silver project. He will be supported by a team of up to 20 geologists from the Hebei Geological Brigade, the Company's partner.

The exploration program is based on recommendations included in the NI 43-101 Technical Report prepared by SRK Consulting, Beijing and SEDAR filed on February 27, 2008. The initial exploration program will be based on the structure of mineralization found in the three nearby gold and silver mines and will be focused on the rapid location of potential drilling targets. The three nearby mines all show similar geology with increasing grade and width of gold/silver mineralization at depth. The budget for the initial program is $750,000.

Mr. Li received his Bachelor of Engineering at the Jilin University (Changchun College of Geology) and his Masters of Science Degree at the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, China. His initial work experience in China was with the Wulong Exploration & Mining Group and the China Geological Survey, Northeast China Branch. Subsequently, Mr. Li worked for two Canadian firms, Dynasty Gold Corporation and Red Dragon Resources Corp. Canada as Field Geologist and Project Geologist respectively.

Mr. Li has an excellent practical and scientific exposure to China's geology which will help the Company to attain its vision to play a significant role in China's gold-silver production growth.
