Euromax appoints Greg Hall as member of advisory board

VANCOUVER, Aug. 7 /CNW/ - EurOmax Resources Limited (TSX-V: EOX.V) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Greg Hall, former Chief Geologist of the Placer Dome Group, to its advisory board effective immediately.

Mr. Hall is a seasoned geologist with over 35 years of international experience. From 1988-2005, he was employed by the Placer Dome group of companies, of which the last five years he served as Chief Geologist - World Wide. Placer Dome was acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation in early 2006.

Over the course of his illustrious career, Mr. Hall was directly involved in a senior capacity in the discoveries of both Barrick Gold's Granny Smith mine and Rio Tinto's Yandi iron ore mine. In addition, he took part in the discoveries of Keringal and Wallaby in Australia's Eastern Goldfields, as well as the definition of AngloGold Ashanti's Sunrise gold mine. Mr. Hall holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

In connection with this appointment, the Board of Directors has granted Mr. Hall 150,000 stock options exercisable at a price of $0.32 and with a term of five years. The Board of Directors has also granted Mr. Anthony Patriarco 150,000 stock options exercisable at a price of $0.32 and with a term of five years. These stock options are subject to the terms and conditions of the Company's stock option plan.
