TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell into negative territory on Wednesday after a higher start to the session as EnCana Corp and other big energy issues relinquished a slice of recent gains.
At 9:47 a.m. EDT, the S&P/TSX composite index was down 2.97 points, or 0.03 percent, at 11,245.00. Earlier in the session it rallied by as many as 50.02 points.
