Tyhee adds significant gold intersections at Clan Lake and BigSky Properties, Yellowknife, NWT, Canada

VANCOUVER, July 8 /CNW/ - Tyhee Development Corp. (TSX Venture, TDC) (the "Company") today announced final Phase I diamond drill results from Clan Lake and BigSky Properties. Clan Lake continues to expand with drillholes CL115 and CL116 extending the main zone to the south by 30 metres with intersections of 134.9 metres (m) grading 0.81 grams per tonne (gpt) gold including 3.0 m grading 17.56 gpt gold (CL116) and 102.4 m grading 0.54 gpt including 3.8 m grading 8.38 gpt gold (CL115).

The zone consists of a pervasively quartz veined and silicified, altered and mineralized intermediate tuff. Phase II drilling of an additional 8,300 m of drilling has commenced on Goodwin Lake and Clan Lake targets."

True width cannot be estimated. Drillholes CL111 and CL112 were collared
too far east to test the Main Zone.
The Clan Lake Property is 32 km south of Tyhee's Ormsby Zone (19 km south of the Goodwin Lake Zone) and 27 km north of the Bluefish hydroelectric complex. The principal gold-bearing zone on the property has been traced on surface for approximately 300 m (open). Phase one drilling is completed and all drillholes have been reported. Phase two drilling has commenced and will test a more northwest-southeast strike to the Main Zone than previously drilled.
The mineralized zone consists of a pervasively silicified and quartz veined grey to tan coloured fine-grained foliated intermediate ash to lapilli tuff. Alteration consists of silicification, sericitization and locally carbonatization with patchy pyrrhotite, pyrite, and arsenopyrite with total sulphides generally present to less than 5%.

Drillholes B020, 21, 24, 29, 31 to 37 and 39 did not intersect
significant mineralization.
"The BigSky results have returned the best numbers to date with 2.9 m of 5.57 gpt gold in B025 into the WK Shear" reports Webb. "This adds to the other holes in this area and extends the mineralized segment to a strike-length of 370 m. This area warrants further drilling to determine if even higher-grade segments exist"
B025 intersected a 7.0 m wide zone of chlorite carbonate schists with variable quartz veining, silicification and sulphides. The other holes intersected generally similar shear zones. All of the drillholes from the Phase 1 drill program have now been reported.
Diamond drilling is continuing with one drill currently active on the Clan Lake Main Zone and one on the Goodwin Lake VAD Zone.
Tyhee has made good progress on its Preliminary Assessment on the Yellowknife Gold Project and expects to publish the results by July 18th 2008.

Tyhee completed fire assays on drill core samples using 30 gram aliquots with ICP-ES finish for gold analyses, prepared at Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. in Yellowknife, and finished at Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd in Vancouver. A semi-quantitative multi-element analysis is run on 0.5 gm aliquot samples leached in a hot aqua regia solution and measured using ICP-ES techniques. Samples grading (greater than)10 gpt gold is fire assayed on 30 gram samples and measured using ICP-ES techniques. Tyhee conducts a rigorous QA/QC program of inserting blanks and duplicates in the field and standards in the laboratory. The laboratory also conducted their own independent QA/QC program including inserting their own standards and rerunning samples from pulped material and reject material. These results were provided to Tyhee. All standards, duplicates, blanks and check assays returned acceptable results. Mr. V. Pratico, P.Geol., the designated QP within the meaning of NI 43-101, has reviewed this release and approves of its content.
