RadiSys Adds New 3G Features to Convedia Media Servers Enabling Two-Way Interactive Mobile Video

HILLSBORO, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RadiSys® Corporation (NASDAQ: RSYS), a leading global provider of advanced embedded solutions, today announced that it has enhanced its Convedia® Media Servers with new 3G mobile video features. RadiSys Convedia Media Servers already offer a broad range of IP video processing features for video telephony applications including mobile video conferencing, video ringback tones, video mail and interactive voice and video response (IVVR). With the addition of new media processing capabilities, the RadiSys Convedia Media Server can now support a service provider’s 3G video processing needs with one common VoIP infrastructure.

The RadiSys implementation provides advanced text rendering including multiple fonts, colors and sizes.
  • RTSP Client – provides improved control of video content streaming from an RTSP server, support for multimedia content streaming from industry standard RTSP servers.
