All Aboard! - Mickey and pals pull into primetime on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo Choo Express on Family Channel

TORONTO, Sept. 9 /CNW/ - Astral Media's Family Channel presents a primetime special for the whole family with the premiere of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo Choo Express. This 40-minute preschool special starring Mickey Mouse and friends airs Saturday, September 26 at 7 p.m. ET/PT, following the network premiere of the underwater adventure, Finding Nemo at 5:15 p.m. ET/PT.

In the special Mickey Mouse Clubhouse adventure, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo Choo Express, Mickey and his pals Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto put together a Clubhouse Choo Choo train and use it to help Professor Von Drake bring loads of his special non-melting snow from Mistletoe Mountain to the Clubhouse so that they can play in the snow every day, even in the summer. Together with viewers at home, Mickey and his crew follow a train schedule and choo-choo to train stations throughout the area to pick up friends and bring them back to the Clubhouse. Families can sing and "Choo Choo Boogie" along at the Easy Freezy Snow Party.

Before playing in the snow that never melts, Families can dive underwater with the Disney movie Finding Nemo at 5:15 p.m. ET/PT. When Nemo, a young clownfish, is unexpectedly carried far from home, his overprotective father, Marlin, and Dory, a friendly but forgetful regal blue tang fish, embark on an epic journey to find him that leads to encounters with vegetarian sharks, surfer dude turtles, hypnotic jellyfish and hungry seagulls. Featuring the voices of Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Willem Dafoe, and Geoffrey Rush, Finding Nemo celebrates families and friendship.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo Choo Express will air on Playhouse Disney on Friday, October 2 at 4:30 p.m. ET/PT.
