Time Warner Cable Names Asheesh Saksena Deputy Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Time Warner Cable today announced that Asheesh Saksena has joined the Company as Deputy Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy. In this role he will drive corporate strategy development and planning, advise senior leaders on strategy issues and oversee strategy projects. Saksena will be based out of the Company’s New York office and report to Peter Stern, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.

Saksena joins Time Warner Cable from Accenture where he most recently served as Senior Executive and Partner, Communications and High Technology Strategy. While at Accenture he led Cable and Wireless strategy engagements and was Global Co-Lead for the Company’s Growth and Product Innovation initiative. Saksena’s focus while at Accenture was on helping clients achieve high performance through new strategies for driving growth with an increased emphasis on IP, mobility, and product innovation.

Before joining Accenture in 2000, Saksena served as an officer at Tata Administrative Services (TAS). During his tenure at TAS, Saksena served as President of TataFone and as Vice President of Tata Interactive Systems.

Saksana earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree with honors from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India and a Masters in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies in Delhi, India. He resides in Bridgewater, NJ with his wife, Sabina, and children Ayesha and Arav.
