(OTC Bulletin Board: HTLJ.OB), a diversified company with businesses in steel warehousing and fabrication and petroleum retail and wholesale operations, today announced that Mound Technologies, its steel fabrication subsidiary, has completed a number of projects, continues to win new contracts and grow a healthy backlog and is becoming a stronger key player for fabricated and value-added steel products and services in the region it serves.
Some of the important achievements for Mound over the past few quarters include:
-- Providing steel fabrication and value-added services in the completion
of the structure on the 4(th) Hamilton City, Ohio, school project on
which Mound has worked over the past two years; projects for a new
gymnasium and middle school are expected to be completed by the end of
the year.
-- The steel fabrication for a new school in Elida, Ohio, a contract worth
in excess of $1.1 million
-- The steel fabrication for the third school in the Little Miami, Ohio,
school district constructed in the last two years.
-- The completion of a new three story office for the Cincinnati
Metropolitan Sewer district, a contract worth just under $1 million.
The backlog for Mound Technologies, Inc. currently exceeds $6.5 million.
