Stellar Business Bank Announces Appointment of New Directors
Mon May 11, 1:16 PMCOVINA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stellar Business Bank (OTCBB: SLRB.OB) announces the appointment of Bernard A. Bernstein and Anthony J. Lima to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Bernstein is a Certified Public Accountant and the managing partner of Pomona-based Bernstein & Rathman, Inc., a Certified Public Accounting firm. Mr. Bernstein received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Cal Poly Pomona. With more than 29 years of experience in public accounting, Mr. Bernstein is a Rotarian and is involved with many Boards and non-profit organizations within the Bank’s market area, including Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, the Los Angeles County Fair Association and City of Pomona Blue Ribbon Committee, and is also a member of the Le Roy Haynes Center’s Finance Committee.
Mr. Lima is President of Fontana-based A.J. Lima Trucking, Inc. With more than 35 years of experience in the trucking and freight industry, Mr. Lima is regarded as a highly experienced and successful professional in his field. Mr. Lima has served the community in many capacities and is currently a Director and Vice President of the Rowland Water District, in addition to serving 15 years on many other joint community water committees.
