Herr Named Chief Operating Officer with VIST Insurance

WYOMISSING AND BLUE BELL, Pa., June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VIST Financial Corp (Nasdaq: VIST) announced today Michael C. Herr has been named Chief Operating Officer of the company's insurance division, VIST Insurance, effective immediately. Mr. Herr had served as Senior Vice President with VIST Insurance and its predecessor Essick & Barr Insurance since joining the company in 2004.

In this position, Mr. Herr will assume overall management responsibility of VIST Insurance, including sales, service, and consulting. He reports to VIST Financial President and Chief Executive Officer Robert D. Davis.

Prior to joining VIST Financial, Mr. Herr served as Vice President of Operations with KDN Corporation, Wyomissing. He has more than 22 years experience in the insurance industry on both the carrier and broker sides.

A resident of Wyomissing, Mr. Herr is a graduate of Shippensburg University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance.
