Tekelec to Host Fourth SIP Educational Webinar
Tue Nov 11, 12:32 PMMORRISVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tekelec (NASDAQ: TKLC) today announced that it will host the last of a four-part Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) educational webinar series on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. EST.
This session, focusing on SIP security, services and future use cases, will be led by Jiri Kuthan, assistant vice president of engineering for SIP technologies and renowned SIP expert. Kuthan led the development of the world’s most widely deployed SIP routing engine, the SIP Express Router (SER), as co-founder and chief technology officer (CTO) of iptelorg, which Tekelec acquired in 2005.
This event caps Tekelec’s first series of educational SIP webinars, which educated hundreds of global attendees about SIP architecture. Based on the events’ success and positive feedback, Tekelec will also offer a 2009 series, with the first webinar scheduled on March 18.
