Intec Completes Outsourcing & Data Center Investment
Wed Aug 12, 8:40 AMATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Intec, a global provider of business support systems (BSS) solutions, announced today the completion of the consolidation of its Americas data centers and outsourcing operations at its regional headquarters in Atlanta. Intec’s multimillion dollar investment in the Atlanta facility consolidates its outsourcing and service bureau operations formerly located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; Toronto, Canada; and Dallas, Texas under one roof in a state-of-the art data center. The Atlanta center is now Intec’s second largest office globally, is fully SAS 70 compliant, and is operationally staffed round the clock every day of the year.
Through its Managed Services division, Intec provides tested, proven and highly integrated software and services, allowing service providers to move rapidly and safely from concept to operations. Intec has more than a decade of experience in providing service bureau or outsourced operations for its product portfolio. The Intec CABS service bureau was most recently moved from Dallas to Atlanta – a move that consolidates Intec’s market-leading position in outsourced CABS billing.
Intec has been providing retail billing services from the Atlanta facility for the last two years, including hosting and managing its Singl.eView suite for a major service provider, supporting the activities of over 2,000 CSRs, as well as business process outsourcing (BPO) services. The BPO operations were moved from the company’s Pennsylvania facility as part of the consolidation initiative, and serve the needs of nearly two dozen companies as a complement to their use of an Intec product or as a standalone service. These BPO services include Print & Mail, Fulfillment, Remittance Processing and Back Office operations.
Intec will hold its next CABS User Conference in Atlanta in March 2010 to showcase the new facility and allow Intec customers, whether using the software in a license model or as a hosted, outsourced solution, to meet the CABS product and service teams, many of whom they work with on a monthly and daily basis. The venue and exact dates will be announced shortly after final confirmation.
