Global Diversified Investment Grade Income Trust Files 2007 audited annual financial statements
Mon Apr 14, 5:47 PMMONTREAL, April 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Global Diversified Investment Grade Income Trust ("Global DIGIT") (TSX: DG-UN.TO) announces that it has filed today with Canadian securities regulators its audited annual financial statements as at and for the year ended December 31, 2007 (the "2007 Financial Audited Statements").
Global DIGIT has previously consolidated its financial statements with those of MMAI-I Trust ("MMAI") in accordance with Canadian generally accepted accounting principles. The 2007 Financial Statements have not been consolidated with those of MMAI due to an accounting change adopted by Global DIGIT pursuant to amended CICA accounting guidelines. This accounting change has been reflected retroactively, and Global DIGIT's comparative audited annual financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2006 have been adjusted accordingly to reflect the impact of the amended guidelines. For a more complete explanation of the accounting change, please see Note 3 "Significant Accounting Policies" to the 2007 Financial Statements filed on SEDAR at www.sedar.ca.
