MONTREAL - As more travellers take their laptops and mobile phones with them, Air Canada (TSX: AC-A.TO) is expected to offer its passengers more ways to stay connected.
The airline is holding a briefing Thursday in Montreal about its latest technical innovations, but wouldn't release any details in advance.
Air Canada has said that it wants to offer some of its passengers the opportunity to surf the Internet, check email and watch videos on their laptops or personal electronic devices on a limited basis on flights to the U.S. West Coast.
The airline already offers a software application designed for Apple iPhone users that allows travellers to check flight information and download electronic boarding passes.
