Intec Wins Billing & OSS Excellence Award for Best Billing

The awards, presented last night at the Billing & OSS World 2009 Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, recognize the leading vendors, service providers and integrators in the development and deployment of billing and OSS technologies and solutions worldwide.
The implementation of Intec’s Singl.eView platform has provided Polkomtel with fully convergent charging for all its services, using a single charging engine for pre- and post-paid subscribers, thereby delivering significant operational and commercial benefits. Since Phase 1 completion, Polkomtel has launched a number of unique new services including, for example, ‘Chill Bill’, whereby subscribers receive a monthly account top-up, to spend on any Polkomtel 36.6 service tariff, in exchange for receiving three, one-and-a-half minute advertisements which they connect to via a freephone IVR number. Polkomtel is the only operator worldwide, to date, to successfully launch a ‘Chill Bill’ style service.
