TORONTO (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index jumped early on Thursday as hot commodities pushed materials and energy shares higher.

TORONTO (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index jumped early on Thursday as hot commodities pushed materials and energy shares higher.

The S&P/TSX composite index was up 102.16 points, or 0.7 percent, at 14,728.47, with seven of its 10 main groups in positive territory.
