Jovian Subsidiary Acquires Certain Former Assets of Farm Mutual Financial

TORONTO, Aug. 15 /CNW/ - Jovian Capital Corporation ("Jovian") (JOV: TSX) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary Rice Financial Group Inc. ("Rice Financial") has received regulatory and court approval to acquire certain of the former assets of Farm Mutual Financial Services Inc., including the right to advise on approximately $300 million in client assets under administration. The transaction has added more than 30 advisors to Rice Financial's existing operations in Ontario.
