Dongbu HiTek Hires Analog Expert

SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dongbu HiTek today named analog and mixed-signal expert Lou N. Hutter to the post of Senior Executive Vice President of the Analog Semiconductor Division, a new position reporting to Dr. Young Hwan Oh, CEO.

During his distinguished 30-year tenure at Texas Instruments, Mr. Hutter served most recently as Director of Mixed-Signal Technology Development. In this role, he was responsible for all analog and mixed-signal technology development across the company’s diverse business entities, focusing primarily on the high performance analog, high volume analog, power management, and wireless business sectors. Becoming a TI Fellow in 1995, Mr. Hutter has 47 US patents to his credit and has authored numerous technical papers.

At Dongbu HiTek, Mr. Hutter will lead the newly formed Analog Foundry Business Division as a General Manager where his primary responsibilities will include strategy, business, and technology development/delivery as well as customer support aimed at growing this key business. Dr. Oh noted that over the past year, Dongbu HiTek demonstrated its commitment to developing and applying specialized semiconductor process technologies that deploy analog functions. In addition to launching the world's first BCDMOS process at the 0.18-micron node, the company also completed two joint BCDMOS chip developments at the 0.35-micron level, one with ADDtek in Taiwan and another with Silicon Mitus in Korea.
