TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Friday as investors sold Royal Bank of Canada and its peers after a U.S. bank reported a quarterly loss that was steeper than expected.
The S&P/TSX composite index fell 43.57 points, or 0.38 percent, to 11,460.94 at the open.
