Flame Seal Receives Warnock-Hersey and Intertek Laboratories Certifications after Erroneous Delay, Triggering Hiring of Targeted Personnel

Thu Jul 17, 1:40 PM

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NOTICE TO CODES OFFICIALS: A number of companies, engineering firms and fire codes personnel have been awaiting word of official Certification of Flame Seals new product. After an unfortunate, erroneous delay, Intertek issued official Certification Documents on July 1, 2008, to Flame Seal Products, Inc. for its Warnock-Hersey and Intertek Laboratories Listing for Flame Seal-TB, as a Thermal Barrier Coating for Spray Applied Polyurethane Foam Insulation. This week it was confirmed that the Certification Listing is now available on-line at Spec-Direct. Contractors, Manufacturers, engineering firms and fire codes officials can access the Certification Listing at www.spec-direct.com, by clicking on Free Access, then hovering on Home, clicking on Search. Then, find Flame Seal on the Organization list and click Find, then View.

As noted in previous releases, Flame Seal-TB is the only thin-film coating in the industry to pass these tests, and these certifications offer the industry at large easily accessible, reliable proof of that status.

TO OUR STOCKHOLDERS: Even though they were delayed, our official Warnock-Hersey / Intertek Certifications were received with such anticipation that the concerns over the delay quickly faded. SPI is stepping up its Marketing efforts to a much higher level, as they are now receiving calls mostly from codes officials, engineering firms, and spec writers. SPI is also in negotiations with major PUF manufacturing firms.

Ignoring the delays caused by the late Certifications, Flame Seals President aggressively moved forward in early June with the planned hiring of new personnel, so that after giving notice to previous employers, they would be able to join Flame Seal the most timely fashion.

WELCOME TO OUR TEAM! June 30th was the start date for Flame Seals new full time internal accountant, Judy Davison, who came from Meador Staffing Services Company in Texas. Judy will give Flame Seal the ability to efficiently manage current finances, as well as coordinate more effectively with outside CPAs and Auditors. Mark Parrinello also joined the Company June 30th as its new Production Systems Engineer. Hired from Weightech (Weighing Technologies, Inc.), TX, Mr. Parrinellos 18 years experience with production process control systems will assure a high level of manufacturing efficiency with the Companys ongoing transition into high volume production.

Additionally, an employment agreement has been completed for one of the Executive Staff Members to officially join the team next month, to work hand-in-hand with the President, and share responsibilities regarding high level negotiations, planning and interface with International Corporations in numerous Industries. He is a world class International Marketer, and his Start date is set for August 4th. Details will be made available shortly, after the last of legal issues regarding this high level, complex hiring is completed.

FROM THE PRESIDENT: First of all, the official listing of Flame Seal-TB as a Certified Thermal Barrier Coating for PUF insulation is a huge step, as it quickly demonstrates to any inquiring party that our product is real, and not just another pretender. This separates Flame Seal from others that, upon deeper investigation, turn out to be a maybe, almost, or claim to be just around the corner. Our product is here now, and officially being marketed and sold, and this becomes the irrefutable proof to officials and clients alike.

The delay we experienced turned out to be no particular individuals fault at Intertek, but due to the complexities and the many persons and steps involved in these certifications, human error or miscommunications can creep in, and in our case, they did. Viewing these delays as merely an inconvenience, everyone involved remains as enthusiastic and committed as they ever were. We are disseminating the information as I write this, but we thought a press release would be an effective way to make the information and the Certification Listing available to everyone concerned immediately.

Finally, am I ever relieved, and happy to finally be able to report to our stockholders that we are bringing in HELP to assist our over-worked group here at Flame Seal! Welcome to Judy and Mark, who are excellent technical additions to our team as noted above, and they are good people as well. My personal excitement over the hiring of one of the mystery members of our incredible Advisory Committee cannot be overstated. Such a high level executive, sharing the tremendous stress and responsibility (and excitement) with me, that goes with managing this stage of Flame Seals development, is not only welcome, but longed for by yours truly. He and I have worked out all the details, and a start date, and after one more item is completed, I will happily report to everyone who this person is, and most importantly, his background and what he means to the future of this Company, as the hiring of this gentleman is one of the most important events in our development, and the beginning of our transformation into a world class, Global Corporation!
