Vancouver, British Columbia, Sept. 17, 2009. The Smartstox Online TV Talk Show is alerting subscribers and other resource stock investors to recent developments at Smartstox-profiled companies Duncastle Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: DUN.V) and Valterra Resource Corp. (CNSX: VTA) (FRANKFURT: 3VA.F). Both companies are part of the Manex Resource Group, and both are enjoying major new developments.

Duncastle Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: DUN.V) says it has mobilized a rig to drill up to 1,640m in a second phase program to follow-up on the successful five-hole program drilled in July and August that identified high-grade extensions (inc. 5.2g/t gold, 122.3g/t silver, 4.5% lead and 13.8% zinc over 2.8 m) of the historic Yankee Girl mine in southeastern British Columbia. Continuity of the Yankee Girl structure has now been demonstrated for over 240 metres to the west of the historical mine workings.

The six-hole late summer program will further test the Yukon shoot and will also target a potential new mineralized zone located between the 400 and Yukon shoots, as well as targeting the 790 shoot to the west of both the Yankee Girl mine and the 400 shoot. Additional holes are planned for the McDowell shoot, at the east end of the historic Yankee Girl mine, and for the former Goodenough Mine, located about 3km north of the Yankee-Dundee mine.

Michael Rowley, vice-president of operations for Duncastle, told Smartstox much more about the Yankee-Dundee mine’s history and the region’s strong exploration potential in our Smartstox interview available at http://www.smartstox.com/interviews/dun.

Last week Valterra Resource Corp. (CNSX: VTA) (FRANKFURT: 3VA.F) announced it had encountered significant near surface, diamond drill results from its recent 2009 exploration program at the gold-silver-copper-lead-zinc Star Project in southeast British Columbia. Drill results include 4.07 g/t gold & 1.57 g/t silver over 47.64m. Valterra has now outlined approximately 250 metres of mineralized strike length to the Alma N zone and all of the zones remain under-explored and open for further expansion. Further drilling is anticipated on the Alma, Toughnut, Eureka, Star and Gold Eagle zones. The region is also home to numerous historic mining camps hosting million ounce gold deposits within the Ymir/Sheep Creek and Rossland districts.

Host Stanlie Hunt talked with Lawrence Page, Q.C., president of Valterra Resource Corp., about the Star Project and the company’s other holdings in the Kootenay region in our Smartstox interview, available to interested investors at http://www.smartstox.com/interviews/vta.
