NANJING, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Emerson (NYSE: EMR) today announced the opening of its new Asia Flow Technology Center in Nanjing, China, strengthening the company’s presence in Asia Pacific and enhancing Emerson Process Management’s commitment to provide innovative, effective process automation solutions for customers in the region.
The Asia Flow Technology Center expands production capacity and services for Emerson Process Management’s leading flow metering and measurement technologies that serve the oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, marine, life sciences, food and beverage, metals and mining, and pulp and paper industries. Located in Nanjing’s Jiangning Science Park, the center joins other recently opened Emerson Process Management facilities in Asia including Chiba (Tokyo) Japan; Wuqing, Tianjin China; Rayong Province, Thailand; Bao’an, Shenzhen, China; and Singapore. Also, an Emerson Solutions Center is scheduled to open in Mizushima Industrial Park in Japan later this month.

The world-class manufacturing facility features one of the highest accuracy flow calibration laboratories in the region. The new 12,500-square-meter center will also offer quality testing capabilities and a hands-on training and interactive demonstration center to support regional customers.
