Nemotek Technologie Reduces Costs and Testing Cycle for Wafer-Level Cameras with New Demonstration Kit

SALA AL JADIDA, Morocco--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nemotek Technologie, a manufacturer of customized Wafer-Level Cameras (WLCs) for portable applications, today announced the availability of its WLC demonstration kit for sensor, camera module and mobile phone vendors. Compatible with all sensor types, the demonstration kit simplifies the company’s camera testing process by including a removable daughter board for testing between cameras. Reliable and easy-to-use, the demonstration kit allows portable application vendors to select the best WLC solution to fit their needs and eliminates additional testing equipment to significantly reduce costs.

The new demonstration kit also includes a mother board with a USB interface enabling potential customers to plug the camera directly into a computer to transport raw digital video from the camera’s sensor. Using the kit’s software application and graphical user interface, customers now have the ability to maneuver and test the camera’s full capabilities without requiring additional sockets or testing equipment.

Nemotek Technologie’s WLCs are built by combining the company’s Wafer-Level Optics (WLO) and Wafer-Level Packaging (WLP) solutions. Using reflow compatible materials, the WLO and WLP can be mounted directly onto the board for camera assembly, resulting in fewer components used in the manufacturing process. The complete WLC manufacturing and assembly process takes place in Nemotek Technologie’s certified Class 10 clean room and facility located in Morocco to ensure high standard, low defect wafer-level solutions.
