Oppenheimers January 6, 2010 Investment Conference in California

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., a unit of Oppenheimer Holdings, is pleased to announce that on January 6, 2010, Senior Director – Investments Charles Laverty will host a one-day seminar dealing with current investment and economic issues. The conference will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort in Indian Wells, CA.

Featured speakers will include Steve Forbes, Chairman and CEO of Forbes Magazine and economist and financial writer Ben Stein. Joining them will be Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist Brian G. Belski and Carter Braxton Worth, Managing Director and Chief Market Technician of Oppenheimer Asset Management. James Carley, the President of Oppenheimer Trust Company, and many of Oppenheimer’s senior equity analysts and investment bankers will also be available to speak and meet with attendees.
