SANDUSKY, Ohio, July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- If your game includes connecting from outside the arc or canning those long-range jumpers, you can win some valuable prizes during the 3-Point Summer Fun Shoot-Out at Cedar Point.

The Grand Prize is a Cleveland Cavaliers' game suite for 18 people AND a Cedar Point VIP Tour for four people. Other prizes include autographed Cleveland Cavaliers' merchandise and Cavaliers and Cedar Point tickets

Now through Sunday, July 27, Cedar Point challenges all hot shots to compete in the 3-Point Summer Fun Shoot-Out at Cedar Point by submitting one of the highest scores at the park's 3-Point Challenge or 3-Point Shoot-Out basketball games. Participants can also register online at www.cedarpoint.com. (Must be at least 18 years old to participate.)

One hundred players will qualify for the finals that will be held at Cedar Point on Sunday, Aug. 3. Each finalist will receive two complimentary tickets to Cedar Point that day to participate in the tournament and to enjoy Cedar Point. All of the finalists will compete in the Morning Shoot-Out. (Players will be notified via e-mail on July 28 if they qualified for the tournament.)

The top 14 shooters and two "Play-In" winners will advance to the "Sweet 16" held that afternoon. To earn one of the two last-chance "Play-In" berths, contestants must be one of the top two scorers in an open shoot-out that will be held earlier in the day on Aug. 3.

The qualifiers for the "Sweet 16" will be seeded according to their scores and will compete against each other in face-to-face contests until the champion is crowned.

In addition to the finals, there will be several special activities associated with the tournament on Aug. 3. From 1-5 p.m., two Cleveland Cavalier Legends and members of the Cleveland Cavaliers Dance Team and Scream Team will take part in the festivities. The Cleveland Cavaliers Caravan will also be at the park for the championship.
