The Cypress Group Closes Sale of Third Largest Burger King Franchisee

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Cypress Group acted as representative and exclusive sell-side advisor to Simmonds Restaurant Management, Inc. ("SRM"), a franchisee of the Burger King System, in connection with the sale of its business operations. SRM was a franchisee with 72 restaurants in Omaha, Nebraska and Des Moines, Iowa. Mike Simmonds, founder of SRM, had been a Burger King Franchisee for 32 years. Burger King Corporation was the buyer of the restaurants.
