TORONTO (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index pushed higher on Friday, supported by energy shares, while financials were buoyed as another U.S. bank posted better-than-expected quarter results.

TORONTO (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index pushed higher on Friday, supported by energy shares, while financials were buoyed as another U.S. bank posted better-than-expected quarter results.

The S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 51.72 points, or 0.38 percent, at 13,511.97.
