AVENTURA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Prepaid Press Expo 2008, the premier gathering of the prepaid services industry, opens Tuesday, August 19th at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and runs through Thursday, August 21st. Industry leaders from all of the segments of the prepaid calling card, wireless and gift and debit card industries will converge and meet with retailers, distributors and others who are involved in the fast growing and dynamic prepaid industry. Despite 2008 being the first year for the Expo, there are almost 50 booths, 12 corporate sponsors and 16 media sponsors. Over a thousand attendees are expected to be in attendance, making it the biggest event for all segments of the prepaid industry.
On Tuesday, the first of three conference tracks, each representing a distinct prepaid segment, will begin. The Prepaid Long Distance track will run on Tuesday, the Prepaid Wireless track will run on Wednesday and the Payments track on Thursday. Each conference track is contained within a single day for the maximum convenience of attendees, who can attend all sessions for a segment in a single day. Passes are available for One to Three Days. The sessions are produced in conjunction with The PELORUS Group, a highly respected conference producer.
The unique Exhibit Hall, with its 50 exhibitors, will be open on Wednesday, August 20, from 10:00AM to 5:00PM, and 10:00AM to 3:00PM on Thursday. The main networking event, a Toga Party at the Garden of the Gods Pool, will be Wednesday evening. Tickets for this event, and other events, are available on The Prepaid Press Expo website. The Roman Forum theme was chosen because, just as the Forum provided a meeting point for all the citizens of ancient Rome, The Prepaid Press Expo is the convergence point for all the diverse segments of the prepaid industry.
