Ronald Mathison announces acquisition of trust units of Pantera Drilling Income Trust

CALGARY, Feb. 19 /CNW/ - Ronald Mathison announced today that from June 16, 2007 to February 15, 2008, he acquired beneficial ownership of 264,662 trust units (the "Trust Units") of Pantera Drilling Income Trust ("Pantera") pursuant to the Distribution Reinvestment Plan of Pantera (the "Plan"). Mr. Mathison now beneficially owns or exercises control and direction over, directly and indirectly, an aggregate of 2,665,976 Trust Units. This represents an approximate 40.63% interest in Pantera based upon the 6,562,210 Trust Units currently outstanding. Mr. Mathison may, from time to time, acquire additional securities of Pantera.
