African Copper PLC: Result of AGM

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - June 19, 2008) - African Copper PLC ("African Copper" or "the Company") (TSX: ACU.TO)(AIM: ACU)(BOTSWANA:AFRICAN COPPER) -

At the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 18 June 2008, all resolutions were put to the meeting and approved except for resolution 3 which was withdrawn and resolution 10 which was taken on a poll. The result of the poll was 21,506,757 in favour and 14,440,016 against, thereby not achieving the 75% majority required.
