(Nasdaq: DMAN), a leading provider of on-demand merchandising and marketing software services for retailers and consumer products manufacturers, today announced that Schwan's Consumer Brands North America, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of frozen foods products, has deployed DemandTec's Trade Planning & Optimization software service. Schwan's Consumer Brands signed an agreement with DemandTec in February 2009 and is using DemandTec's solution to better understand and predict consumer demand and to shape the company's pricing and trade promotion strategies.
