TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell into negative territory on Monday morning, after opening higher, as bank shares relinquished early gains.

TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell into negative territory on Monday morning, after opening higher, as bank shares relinquished early gains.

At 9:53 a.m., the S&P/TSX composite index was down 3.48 points at 11,501.28.
