FOX Business Secures Agreement with Cablevision

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FOX Business Network (FBN) has secured an agreement with Cablevision Systems Corp., expanding the business network’s distribution across Cablevision’s subscriber footprint throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, announced Tim Carry, the network’s senior vice president of affiliate relations.

Beginning November 19th, FBN will be available to Cablevision subscribers on channel 106 through the cable provider’s Optimum-branded communications system.

In making the announcement, Carry said “We’re pleased to welcome Cablevision as our newest FOX Business affiliate and look forward to providing the essential and up-to-the-minute breaking business news to the greater New York area.”

The launch will expand FBN’s presence in the surrounding New York City metro area, throughout Long Island as well as Westchester, Fairfield and Bergen Counties.
