Copernican World Banks Income and Growth Trust-Distribution, May 2008

BURLINGTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 20, 2008) - Copernican World Banks Income and Growth Trust (TSX: CBK-UN.TO) (the "Fund") today announced that a monthly cash distribution in the amount of $0.05833 per unit of the Fund will be paid on June 13, 2008 to unitholders of record as of May 30, 2008.

A unitholder that has continually held units since inception will have received a total of $1.55 per unit as of payment date.
