TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned lower on Tuesday as early strength in Barrick Gold and other gold miners reversed with softer gold prices.
The S&P/TSX composite index fell 9.84 points to 11,528.55.
Gold slipped below $1,060 an ounce and drove Barrick, which was among the top notable decliners at midday, down 1.4 percent to C$39.55.
