Lincoln and Visa Are Co-Presenting Sponsors of WIRED Store

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WIRED magazine today announced that Lincoln (www.lincoln.com) and Visa (www.visa.com) will be co-presenting sponsors of the fourth annual WIRED Store. The return of WIRED’s annual New York City pop-up retail store puts today’s hottest products in the hands of holiday shoppers. For five weeks during the holiday season the WIRED Store will have more than 150 items on display including the latest televisions, cameras, cell phones, snowboards, skateboards, home goods, clothing, children’s toys and accessories, a motorcycle, and the Lincoln MKS. The WIRED Store will also feature a green section curated by Adrian Grenier and Peter Glatzer — co-creators of the Discovery show Alter Eco and a new media brand, the green life. This year’s WIRED Store will also recognize four charities that foster innovation, growth, and engagement, including: charity:water, Echoing Green, Forest Ethics, and the International Rescue Committee (IRC). The WIRED Store is located at 15 West 18th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in Manhattan’s Flatiron District and will be open Wednesday through Friday from 12pm to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday from 11pm to 7pm and closed Monday and Tuesday. The WIRED Store will host a range of events including weekly WIRED Music Spotlights with special guest DJs sponsored by Beck’s (Wednesday nights from 6pm to 9pm, December 3, 10, and 17) and How-To’s with WIRED’s Joe Brown: how to fine tune your HDTV, maximize your audio system, and choose which smartphone is right for you (Sunday, November 30 and Sunday, December 21, 1pm and 4pm).

  • Beyond Hollywood: Indie Sci-Fi in the 21st Century with Digital Media Artist and award-winning director of the highly anticipated sci-fi thriller, Sleep Dealer, Alex Rivera, chats with WIRED’s Nancy Miller (Thursday, December 18 at 7pm)
