EnQuest Announces Corporate Organizational Changes

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 21, 2008) - EnQuest Energy Services Corp. (TSX VENTURE: ENQ.V) ("EnQuest" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that Mr. Christopher W. Challis, formerly the President, US Operations of EnQuest, has been appointed as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of EnQuest.

EnQuest also announces that it has accepted the resignation of Henry R. Lawrie as director. Mr. Lawrie has resigned as a director of EnQuest to concentrate on some personal family health matters. EnQuest wishes to express its thanks to Mr. Lawrie for his service to the Corporation and wishes him success in future endeavours. EnQuest anticipates appointing another member to its Board in the next 30 days.
