TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto Stock Exchange's main index rose at the open on Friday as resource stocks got a lift from firmer commodity prices and financials rallied after a 9 percent drop in the previous session.
The S&P/TSX composite index was up 271.66 points, or 3.52 percent, to 7,996.42.
