Energy Plus Income Trust Announces Distribution

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 22, 2008) - Energy Plus Income Trust (the "Fund") (TSX: EPF-UN.TO) reports the distribution to unitholders of record at the close of business on May 31, 2008 and payable June 16, 2008 is $0.0833 Cdn per trust unit.

Throughout the month of April 2008, Energy Plus repurchased 43,700 units under its mandatory repurchase program when the Fund traded at a discount greater than 5%.

As at May 15, 2008, the Fund's net asset value was $8.90 Cdn per trust unit. The current portfolio consists of 69% oil & gas royalty trusts, 28% oil & gas service trusts, and 3% energy corporations.
