Bonterra Energy Income Trust Confirms Cash Distribution for May Payable June 30, 2008

CALGARY, May 22 /CNW/ - Bonterra Energy Income Trust (www.bonterraenergy.com) (TSX: BNE-UN.TO) is pleased to announce its distribution to Unitholders for the month of May 2008. The record date for the distribution is June 16, and the ex-distribution date is June 12, 2008. The distribution will be made on June 30, 2008. The amount of the distribution will be $0.27 per unit (a two cent increase from the previous month).

Bonterra Energy Income Trust is a conventional oil and gas royalty trust with operations in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Its units are listed on The Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "BNE.UN".
