the most exciting shot in golf for charity

TORONTO, July 22 /CNW/ - The public is invited down to Polson Pier to watch the RBC Canadian Open Million Dollar ShootOut Finals, where the top 100 qualifiers will have their chance to be one of the lucky 10 who shoot for a hole-in-one and the $1,000,000 prize.

In addition to the Million Dollar ShootOut competition, RBC Canadian Open competitors - "Young Guns" Camilo Villegas and Anthony Kim will take on "Veterans" Chris DiMarco and Mark Calcavecchia to see who can get their shot closest to the pin and win $5,000 for either the Bloorview Kids Rehab or Reach Out Centre for Kids.

    What:    The RBC Canadian Open Million Dollar ShootOut is a spectacular
             hole-in-one competition where participants have the opportunity
             to make a 165-yard shot from Polson Pier onto a man-made
             floating island green in the Toronto Harbour.

    When:    July 23, 2008 from 6 to 9 P.M.
             Top 100 Qualifiers will take their chance to be one of the lucky
             10 who shoot for a hole.

             Camilo Villegas, Anthony Kim, Chris DiMarco, Mark Calcavecchia
             will take their shots at the green between 7 and 8 P.M.
