Les Mines J.A.G. Ltee: Change to the Board of Directors

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 22, 2008) - Les Mines J.A.G. Ltee ("JAG" - The Company)(TSX VENTURE: JML.V) - announces the appointment of Mr. Andre Duquenne on its board of Directors. He will fulfill the seat left vacant following the resignation of Dr. Guy Brassard, a member of the Board since 1986. The Directors sincerely wish to thank Dr. Brassard for his continued support throughout his mandate.

Andre Duquenne currently serves as President of T2ic a services company in Technology Transfer Innovation Capital. From 1997 to December 2004 he was co-founder and Senior Vice President of Information Technologies of T2C2, a venture capital firm specializing in the high technology industry start up. Mr. Duquenne has been a cofounder of Innovatech of Greater Montreal, a venture capital firm of 350 million dollars fostering growth in technology-based industries including information technology and aerospace.

The Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Mr. Duquenne on its Board, which occurs at a perfect time, considering the implication of JA.G. in the research of natural gas and oil in Quebec and also, being active on its Belleterre gold property. Mr. Duquenne brings with him considerable experience along with a participation in more than 60 important investments in pre start-up companies.
